A year of trade fairs, innovation and flavourful encounters

For Royal Polak Spices, 2025 is all about connection and flavourful innovation. We brought our trusted product range to several international trade fairs – and introduced a bold new concept: Taste Chunks.

From Rimini to Brussels: a packed trade fair calendar

From Sigep in Rimini in January to last week’s CBA Business Day in London – Royal Polak Spices was there. In between, we took part in ISM/Prosweets in Cologne, the IJsdagen in Kesteren, Bakkersvak in Gorinchem, the Ranson Happening in Brussels and the prestigious IBA in Düsseldorf.

At each of these events, our team – including colleagues from sales, marketing, and product development – presented the broad Royal Polak Spices assortment, with special attention to our Vavco brand and the innovative Taste Chunks.

“It’s fantastic to offer something new alongside our trusted range,” says senior account manager Walter Jansen. “It brings a whole new energy to our conversations with customers.”

Introducing: Taste Chunks

The launch of Taste Chunks was a true highlight this year. The cinnamon chunks, available in different textures and sizes, drew plenty of attention and sparked surprising conversations. “In two words? Crazy enthusiastic!”, Walter recalls. “From fudge and cookies to ice cream and bars – as a topping or mixed in – customers came up with incredibly creative applications. And we’re not done yet: more flavours are in the works.”
