From Van Amstel Visser to VAVCO: New Name, New Look, Same Trusted Quality
From fragrant vanilla beans to rich extracts and aromatic sugars – since Van Amstel Visser & Co. became part of Royal Polak Spices in 1970, the brand’s products have become indispensable to bakers and pastry chefs alike. As of July 2025, Van Amstel Visser will continue under a new name: VAVCO. The trusted quality remains, with a refreshed visual identity.

The new name VAVCO is a fusion of the original name: Van Amstel Visser & Co. This way, the brand’s heritage remains clearly recognizable.

Under the VAVCO brand, not only will all existing products from the Bourbon Vanilla portfolio remain available, but we are also introducing two innovative additions:
